Ralph was born on December 6, 1959 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on December 21, 2006 in Grants, New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife: Connie Gallegos of Grants, New Mexico; Parents: Joe Gonzales and Emma S. Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Crystal D. Gallegos, Jennica Iris Gonzales, Rainbois Gonzales, Starlee Lillie Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales all of Grants, New Mexico; Grandson: Issac Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Lucy Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Teddy Gonzales of Milan, New Mexico, Bernie Gonzales, Eloy Gonzales, Melvin Gonzales, Rudy Gonzales all of Grants, New Mexico, Johnny Gonzales of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Danny Torrez of Grants, New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his brother: Larry Gonzales.
