Rosary and Funeral Mass for Ray Macias, Sr. 72 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-July 18, 2014-1:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial with Military Honors by the VFW Lodge 3221 will follow at the
Grants Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Thursday-July 17, 2014 from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Ray was born on April 17, 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away on July 13, 2014 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his Children: Anita Ramirez and James of Grants, Sarah Rodriguez and Michael, Sr. of Gallup, Christine Macias of Grants, Ray Macias, Jr. of Grants; Brother: Ernest Macias and wife Juanita of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Josephine Macias-Blea and husband Manuel of Grants, New Mexico and Carmen Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Grandchildren: Felicia Rodriguez, Jacqueline Labbe Patricia Macias, Melinda Macias, Michelle Labbe, Shantel Dillon, Michael Rodriguez, Jr., Rebecca Macias, Kandace Dillon, Keana Taliman, Rae Ann Rodriguez, Isaac Oso, De'Ana Oso, Rayleen Macias, Stacie Bodie and Ray Macias, III.
Great Grandchildren: Elexia Duckett, Ashanti Gomez, Alize Chavez, Ajia Duckett, Raeyna Valdez, Jazzlyn Carrasco, Nicholas Carrasco, Jr., Destiny Macias, Izabella Taliman and Luciano Hiles.
He is preceded in death by his Loving Wife: Cecilia Torrez Macias in 2013; Parents: Benjamin Macias and Esther Chavez Macias; Sisters: Mary Nanez and Mary Lou Macias; Brother: Eloy Macias; Grandchild: Laticia Lucero.
Pallbearers will be: David Quintana, Leroy Torrez, Peter Torrez, Jr., Isaac Oso, Bobby Macias, Kenneth Lopez, Mark Garcia, Billy Saavedra.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and Leo Sanchez.
