Richard Gonzales

Richard Gonzales, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 19, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 69. Born on January 25, 1957, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Richard filled the lives of those around him with laughter and creativity.

He was a man of many talents and interests. Richard had a deep passion for music, often expressing himself through playing the drums. His creativity extended beyond the rhythm of music; he enjoyed painting, drawing, and crafting beautiful jewelry. Richard found solace in nature and wildlife, relishing the moments spent fishing and embracing the great outdoors.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Gonzales, and their three children: Kenny (LeeAnn) Gonzales, Alexandra (Robert) Rodriguez, and Paul (Jennifer) Gonzales, along with his 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Cathie Gonzales, who, along with the rest of his family, will carry his memory with love and fond remembrance.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Gonzales, and his mother, Placida Gonzales. He was also mourned by his late sister, Anette Gonzales. The love and memories shared within this family are a testament to the joy Richard brought into their lives.
