Funeral Services for Richard Lewis, 65 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-January 19, 2019-10:00 AM at the Potters House, Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Mark Teshima will officiate.



Viewing will be held on Saturday-janaury 19, 2019 from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM at the Potters House.



Richard was born on May 23, 1953 in Milan, New Mexico area and he passed away on January 14, 2019 in Grants, New Mexico.



He is survived by his Loving wife: Lucia "Nez" Lewis of Haystack, New Mexico; sons: Michael Lewis of Haystack, New Mexico, Ricky Lewis of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Marquez Lewis and Randy Lewis both of Tucson, Arizona; Daughters: Francis Lewis and Antonia Lewis both of Grants, New Mexico, Colleen Joe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mother: Grace "Martinez" Lewis of Haystack, New Mexico; Brothers: Benjamin Lewis of Prewitt, New Mexico, Hebrew Lewis, Cecil Lewis both of Haystack, New Mexico, Paul D. Lewis of Wheatfield, Arizona, David Lewis of Haystack, New Mexico; Sisters: May Laphia of Haystack, New Mexico, Lillian Francisco of To'hajiilee, New Mexico, Alice Lewis, Lorene Lewis both of Haystack, New Mexico, Ida Belone of Phoenix, Arizona and Aileen Carbajal of Haystack, New Mexico; 9 Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Daughter: Theresa Lewis; Father: Cecil Lewis, Sr.; Brothers: Ervin Lewis, Sr., Gary Lewis, Albert Lewis; Sister: Julia Nelson.



Pallbearers will be: Michael Lewis, Ricky Lewis, Levi Francis, Herschel Nelson, Nathanael J. Nelson, Benjamin Begay.
