Robert Trujillo

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Robert Edward Trujillo 57 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-May 18, 2016-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



Robert was born on July 8, 1958 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 12, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico.



He attended Grants High School and graduated with the class of 1977. He then worked at Anaconda Mill for 5 years. He met Diana Miera and they married and moved to Espanola, New Mexico and had 2 children together Amanda and Julie.



Robert worked over 20 years for the Nambe Mills. After Nambe closed Robert worked for Buffalo Thunder Casino for 8 years.



He was a very out-going person, he loved to play pool and basketball with his friends. He like to play the guitar, and his favorite music was the Beatles and oldies. He enjoyed time with his family, road trips, family reunions and picnics. Some of his favorite foods were almost everything and he really enjoyed Ice Cream.



Robert was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather.



Robert is survived by his Daughters: Amanda Castillo and husband Florian, Jr. their children Florian Castillo, III, Destiny Castillo and Alexandra Castillo all of Espanola, New Mexico, Julie Dosten and husband Edward and son Brandon Dosten of Espanola, New Mexico; Parents: Edward and Sostena Bertha(Bea) Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Daniel Trujillo of Grants, New Mexico and children: Crystal Saavedra of San Rafael, New Mexico, Carmel Trujillo and wife Melissa and son: Nicholas of Grants, New Mexico; Christopher Trujillo and wife DeNelle and sons: Dominic and Michael of Grants, New Mexico.
