Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness
Starts at 3:00 pm (Mountain time)
On Monday, September 7, our beloved mother and grandmother Rose passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She passed of natural causes at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, after entering hospice three (3) days before. Her husband, Felix Arguello in April of this year preceded her in death. They were married on September 10, 1962. Together they had two (2) children Abigail and Jane.
Rose was born in Chamisal, New Mexico to Doloritas and Francisco Garcia on February 23, 1932. She was only four (4) years old when her father passed away after returning home ill from the armed forces in Europe.
Rose was commited to her family, her friends and her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She considered herself blessed to have the companionship of her brothers and sisters in the congregation.
Mom was our mentor, teacher, confidant, friend, listener and counselor. She provided positve support to all of us. We all looked forward to her cooking because it seemed she made everything extra special and delicious. Her tortillas were the best in the world.
She is survived by her children; Doriann Miller (Phil Miller), Mary Drobot, Della Martinez, Abigail Lopez and Jane Burton. She has sixteen (16) grandchildren and twenty-one (21) great grandchildren.
Three (3) children preceded her in death: Ivan Vasquez, Dolores Vasquez Lopez and Mildred Vasquez-Tapia.
There are no words to describe the loss of our mother Rose in our hearts. "Our butterfly has flown."
