Rudy Baca was born on July 7, 1952, to Claudio & Maggie Baca in San Mateo, New Mexico. He passed away quietly on August 1, 2026 of natural causes at his home in San Mateo. 

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two wives and his daughter Brenda. 

Rudy is survived by his children Delilah, Damien, Claudio & Christina. By his sibilings Ellen, Mary, Christina & David, as well as numerous friends and family.

Rudy was a peaceful God loving man who believed in Jesus, and also in living a fun life. He loved the world and brought happiness and laughter to everyone who was lucky enough to cross his path. Hailing out of San Mateo, NM Rudy was a great friend and father, uncle and brother. Whether a perfect stranger or to an old friend or relative, he was always happy to see you.

He worked as a miner like many of his friends and family, and was sick there at the end while waiting for compensation for his work and sacrifice. Rudy's religion is Catholic and he is a Carnal from the Brotherhood Penintentes of San Mateo, but he truly loved the Lord and all religions that praise God. In these roles and memories he will be remembered and honored for eternity. Thank you for your time with us on this earth, may your soul rest in peace and your memory live on forever.
