Salvador Benavidez

Funeral Mass for Salvador Joseph Benavidez 13, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-May 19, 2009-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



Visitation will be held on Monday-May 18, 2009-2:00-6:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary. A Rosary will be held on Monday-May 18, 2009-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Salvador was born on August 9, 1995 in Grants, New Mexico and he passed away on May 13, 2009 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a student at Los Alamitos Mid School at the time of his death.



He was a much loved son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who died suddenly but peacefully. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched.



He is survived by his father: Salvador Benavidez, Sr. of Grants, New Mexico; Step Mother: Arlene Onase of Laguna, New Mexico; Mother: Paula Delara of Prewitt, New Mexico; Step Father: Joe Delara of Globe, Arizona; Brothers: Salvador Benavidez, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Juan Joseph Benavidez of Japan, Joseph Edward Delara of Globe, Arizona; Sisters: Anna Casaus of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tara Worthen of Milan, New Mexico, Tieyerra Delara of Globe, Arizona, Angel Renee Delara of Globe Arizona and Audrey Kee of Globe, Arizona; Grandparents: Alice Delara of Globe, Arizona, Nancy Abeita of Prewitt, New Mexico.



Pallbearers will be: Frank Chavez, Sr., Billy Joe Chavez, Juan Joseph Benavidez, Jr., Fabian Abeita, Cass Abeita, Herman Abeita.
