Services for Sammy D. Lynn, Sr. 69, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Friday-October 26, 2007-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Pastor Tad Fish will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held on Thursday-October 25, 2007-2:00 PM-6:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.

Mr. Lynn was born on October 28, 1937 in Grants, New Mexico and Passed away October 23, 2007 in Milan, New Mexico. He graduated from Lockney High School in Lockney, Texas. he came to New Mexico and began working at the Anaconda Mill in the lab, for two years. Samy then began working forPeabody Coal Mine for Thirteen years from which he retired. Samy was also the owner and operator of Lynn Tree Sales.

He is survived by his wife: Neva Lynn of Milan, New Mexico; Children: Sammy Lynn, Jr. of Milan, New Mexico, John Lynn of Grants, New Mexico, Leanna Lynn of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Janice K. Robinson of Milan, New Mexico; Brother: Bruce K. Lynn of Milan, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Mark Robinson of Milan, New Mexico, Joseph Robinson of Milan, New Mexico, Kevin Lynn of Columbus, Montana, Troy Canada of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Lacey James of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Great Grandchildren: Emillo Robinson of Milan, New Mexico, Victoria Robinson of Milan, New Mexico, Desiree Lynn of Columbus, Montana and Tyler Lynn of Idaho.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Milford D. Lynn and Alma Lynn; Brother: John Lynn and Sister: Mary Pearl Wilson; Daughters: Cathy Lynn and Janice Robinson.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Lynn, Mark Robinson, Bruce Lynn, Jr., Neal Lynn, Mike Lynn and Chad Hullinger
