Sofie Salazar

Services for Sofie S. Salazar 87, of San Mateo, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-October 7, 2010-10:00 AM at the San Mateo Baptist Church, San Mateo, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the San Mateo Community Cemetery. Pastor Robert Pouges will be the Celebrant.



A Prayer services will be held on Wednesday-October 6, 2010-7:00 PM at the San Mateo Baptist Church.



Mrs. Salazar was born on October 21, 1922 in San Mateo, New Mexico and she passed away on October 3, 2010 in Tucumcari, New Mexico.



She is survived by her children: Gilbert Salazar of San Mateo, New Mexico, Frank Montano, Sr. of San Mateo, New Mexico, Pauline Martinez of San Mateo, New Mexico and Frances Lucero of San Mateo, New Mexico; 10 Grandchildren, 28, Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her husband: Abelino Salazar, Sr., Sons: Abelino Salazar, Jr. and Alex Salazar; Daughter: Ida Salazar; Parents: Gabriel Sandoval and Onofre Pena Salazar.



Pallbearers will be: Michael Martinez, Wayne Martinez, Benito Lucero, Frank Montano, Jr., Arsenio Salazar, Arturo Candelaria
