Steven, beloved husband of Moni Short, passed away July 19, 2009 at their home at Bluewater Lake. Steve was born on August 13, 1949 in Ohio. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a proud Marine who served two tours.
Steve was an artist. A kind and generous friend and a loving husband. He will be remembered for his wit, his charm and amazing talent.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Moni Short of Bluewater, New Mexico; Sisters: Janet Grant and husband John of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sue Crites and husband James of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Chrystal Short of Bluewater, New Mexico; Brothers: Danny Short of Bluewater, New Mexico and David Short and wife Keiko of Albuquerque, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: William "Bud" Short and Mary Helen Short.
