Funeral Services for Verna Johnny 49 of Church Rock, New Mexico will be held on Monday-March 12, 2018-10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Gallup, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Rehoboth Cemetery. Pastor Bobby Boyd will officiate.
Verna was born on January 7, 1969 in Gallup, New Mexico and she passed away on March 6, 2018 in Gallup, New Mexico. She loved to cook and bake for family and friends. Made the best Fry Bread. She always was willing to help with chores and clean up after events. She was will be dearly missed by us all.
She is survived by her Son: Danny Dan Brown of Church Rock, New Mexico; Daughter: Samantha Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; Sisters: Bernice Stewart of Red Lake, Arizona, Caroleen Haley of Church Rock, New Mexico; Brothers: Alison Brown of Farmington, New Mexico and Robert Brown, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona and 1 Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Robert Brown, Sr. and Lena J. "Johnson" Brown; Sister: Veran Ellen Brown and Brother: Ernest Brown.
Pallbearers will be: Frederick DuBoise, Joshuian Haley, Matthan Haley, Lorenzo Haley, Leonard Stewart, Jr., Leonard Stewart, III.
