Memorial Services for Virginia Grace Chavez 64 of San Mateo, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-September 28, 2016-11:00 AM at the San Mateo Baptist Mission. Pastor Pouges will officiate. Burial will take place at the San Mateo Community Cemetery.
Virginia was born on June 6, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she passed away on September 22, 2016 in San Mateo, New Mexico. She was retired from Roberta's Palace as the Shelter Manager.
She is survived by her Loving Husband: Joe Chavez, Sr. of San Mateo, New Mexico; Sons: Joe J. Chavez, Jr. and Companion Antonio Reyna of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Prajeres Chavez and Companion Vennesa Decker of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Daughter: Rena Gutierrez and husband Antonio of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sister: Janelle Bibo of San Mateo, New Mexico; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Leandro Marquez and Viola Candelaria Marquez.
