Memorial Mass for Yvonne L. Brown, 68 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-November 20, 2008-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday-November 19, 2008-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Yvonne was born on May 26, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska and passed away on November 15, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico. She was a member of the Red Hatters Club, VFW auxiliary and the AARP. She retired from the Cibola Title Company.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; Danny A. Brown of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Craig Brown and wife Jill of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Grandson: Josh Brown of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Granddaughter: Taylor Brown of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Harry Barnes and wife Carmen of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Randy Barnes of Grand Junction, Colorado; Sister: Laurie Amos and husband Chuck of Descanso, California.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Harry Barnes and Jeanne Rowe Barnes.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Grants Red Hat Society.
In Lieu of flowers those that wish can make donations to the Juvenile Diebetes Researsch Fondation International, c/o Craig and Jill Brown, 1721 Rusty Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114
